About Me
Why I Started My DIY Mechanic Journey and What You Can Expect Here
Hey there! I’m excited to share my journey with you. For over 5 years, I’ve been diving headfirst into the world of DIY mechanic work, and let me tell you—it’s been one wild ride. What started as a passion for tinkering with my Honda Ruckus has evolved into full-blown projects on my VW Mk6 and my favorite—NA Miatas.
One of the things I love most about working on my own cars is the learning process. It’s not always smooth sailing (there have been plenty of mistakes along the way!), but that’s part of the fun. I’m here to share not just the successes, but the challenges too—because let’s face it, things don’t always go as planned when you’re elbow-deep in engine grease.
I put out new content every week, showcasing what I’m currently working on. Some days, I might be fixing a problem that’s been bugging me for weeks, and other days, I’m diving into upgrades that I can’t wait to show off. The goal of my blog is to document my progress, provide tips I’ve learned, and hopefully, inspire you to tackle your own projects, no matter your experience level.
I want this space to be a place where fellow car enthusiasts and DIYers can connect, share ideas, and learn from each other. Whether you’re working on a Honda Ruckus, a VW, or anything in between, I hope my journey can help you with yours.
Stay tuned for weekly updates and follow along as I navigate the highs and lows of being a DIY mechanic. Let’s keep learning and improving, one project at a time!
Warmest Regards, Alex – BrokeBoyAutos
